I appreciate you landing on my about me page and getting to know me a little better.
Firstly I'm a Mumma to 3 little ladies and 1 young man, They are growing up faster than I would like them to.
We have a dog named Bella who is my little shadow and. Lorikeet named Lorri (so original) who is noisy and messy. She sees me as her person and hangs off me any chance she gets when someone opens her cage.
Lucky to have my husband to share this life with.
We have been married since 2009 but have been together since 2002.
Our wedding is the reason I began my photography business after witnessing how one of our vendors was speaking with our guests I joked to my husband "I bet I could do a better job!' and his reply "Well do it" and here we are 13 years later.
I know it's cheesy but I love every part of my job!
I love being part of the bride when she's getting ready on her wedding day, the boys calming their nerves with a couple of beverages, the vows which always make me cry, the portraits, the family photos, the speeches, all the details, all the beautiful connections and interactions, the kisses and cuddles.....I'm here for it all.

I enjoy being around happiness, authentic connections and just being around LOVE!
I have many couples tell me I make them feel calm and grounded on their wedding day.
Weddings with me included a Reiki Session either the week leading up or the morning of, I arrive early and spend a bit of one on one time to ease the overwhelm and anxiety. It's not for everyone but for my clients who have accepted the offer have raved about it.
This is also great for Personal Branding sessions to calm the nervous system and gain clarity on the vision you have for your images.

A little fun fact......I am a Reiki Master and see clients outside of my photography business, some of which are wedding industry suppliers here on the Sunshine Coast.
Life can get a bit stressful and overwhelming and Reiki is a alternative holistic healing modality and has many benefits such as helps calm the mind, eases tension and stress, promotes pain relief, energises and balances whole body, strengthens immune system and promotes deep relaxation.
I love going out on our boat around Maroochy River, spending time with my family, having my weekly breakfast date with my husband at our fav cafe which is The Barn at Flaxton.
Entertaining our furbaby Bella. Listening to podcasts, music and relaxing by binge watching tv shows of an evening.
Ooh and I love to travel......I mean who doesn't and can't wait for our family trip planned for June 2023. Although my books are always open for destination weddings and ready to jump on the plane and photograph your wedding anywhere in the world.

My photography style is very much heart led and intuitive.
I am a very easy going, down to earth girl and get a feel for my clients through our communications and meetings for the type of style of session we can have and I adapt very easily. I am inspired by YOU, my surroundings, my family, my mentors and peers.
Not one session is the same, each client has their own personality and it's my job to bring the best of that personality out in you with the help of your hype team being partner, kids, animals or only me.
Connection, playfulness and just being in the present moment can make a huge impact on your images. To achieve this I will guide you with lots of stillness, movement, intimacy, lots of laughing and prompts. Prompts will help with connection of laughs, cuddles, kisses, being held and supported.
Feedback with this style has been positive and some have said they get to know their partner on a deeper level and strengthens their relationship.
The end result is images that remind you of how you felt in that moment, imagine these images showcased throughout your home for you and your family to admire for generations.

My clients describe me to be Ninja like on their wedding day!
When I arrive to the getting ready photos I do photograph as the day unfolds with as little input as possible but obviously there are times when I do need to step in and guide you. I am also the one who is making sure we are running to schedule and be ready to leave on time, but also making sure we have the shots I need for your storyline.
Once I arrive to ceremony the only time you will see me is when the bride is walking down the aisle, I will be making sure I am mostly out of sight and out of the way moving around capturing your ceremony from different angles.
The I need to wrangle your guests for the big group shot and family photos, I usually ask the couple for someone who knows guests on the list to help to keep this flowing so we can move on to bridal Portraits before we lose light.
During the reception I move about during the night photographing lots of candids of your guests interacting, couples photos and table shots.
Not one person has been missed every guest photographed.
Then the real fun begins.....first dance, then everyone lets loose and then I stalk the dance floor waiting for grandma to get up for a boogie or the uncle that likes to get up and cut a rug
